Power Steering Fluid
Power steering may seem like a luxury you could live without but it’s failure can subject the vehicle and its occupants to severe danger. A car designed to have power steering can be very hard to steer without it. Sudden and unexpected failure of the system can cause loss of control of the vehicle. Power steering fluid leak or low level can be the cause. Some tips:
- Check monthly, using a clean reservoir dipstick.
- Have a professional check the pump and hoses for leaks.
